I wear glasses.
Contacts.
Whatever.
But one phenomenon I will never understand is how they get so damn dirty. For something that is used (and wiped off!) daily, these little buggers manage to get water spots, dust, smudges and crust caked on them. HOW DOES THIS HAPPEN?!
Naturally, I wear rhinestone studded Coach spectacles. They are durable (albiet expensive, so I always keep them in a case when they aren’t on) and comfortable. But if they are properly put away and taken care of how are they still so dirty??
Sometimes I go a few days without a wipe-off; only to clean my glasses with soap and water, replace them on my face and see the world in 3-D! Why do I do this to myself?

Ever look at the front of your car after a long road trip? Your glasses and even contacts work the same way I guess. Only difference is you aren’t 4,000 lbs moving 60 mph.
